Ok, this is sort of way overdue. Abbie, some choir people, and I went to the ACS Independent
Viva La Musica last Friday. It's part of their Festival of Arts. Firstly, the school doesn't even look like a school. Really. The grass on their football fields are in perfect condition (as what I see from a few metres away). It's nice and green, without any balding patches. Notice I said 'fields'. Yes, they have more than one field. And,the hostels look somewhat like condominiums. And their auditorium or whatever it's called, is way better than Victoria Concert Hall.
So back to the whole concert. It was mainly performed by the choir and guitar orchestra. The choir was really REALLY good. There was this jazzy piece they did that was awesome. One of the leading guys sounded just like Michael Bublé. That's how good they were. And the guitar orchestra was spanking. They sounds they made did not even sound like it was made by a guitar. Oh, and there was one part where a guitar trio came out to play, it was super neat. One of them played the bass and the other two played with acoustic guitars. There was one part where one of the guys flipped his guitar over and started drumming on it like it was a drum. I wish I had brought a camera or something.
From now on I will be posting on and off-ish, cause lately, the TV seems to be more entertaining (is that the right word?) than the computer. Go figure. Ciao.
